Named, “one of this nation’s most intriguing and alluring vocalists,” [The Calgary Herald], Israeli / Canadian Orit (pronounced O’reet) Shimoni has been touring Canada and Europe, full-time, solo, independently, and by public transit.  For over a decade, she has been connecting with diverse audiences through her poignant, eloquent songs, engaging stories, her smooth but powerful voice and enchanting melodies that go straight into the heart, but with words that make you think deeply about this world.  She has released eleven highly acclaimed albums of original songs, received enthusiastic album and live reviews and international radio play, and is currently working on more.  Her consistent dedication to her craft, prolific writing and originality have generated praise from music industry and media as well as her growing fan base.
